Offshore Kiosk -  Check-In/Check-Out Workflow

Check-In

For passengers that are checking in with the Offshore Kiosk select the Check In button. From here enter the passengers Date of Birth and Select the Passenger's profile. You will be asked to confirm one final time before it brings you to the Arrival Sheet screen.

Once you have confirmed your passengers information you will have the option to email any assignments or click Finish to complete the Check-In.

If you do not see a passenger's profile after entering their date of birth, check the following items.

  • That the date of birth is correct
  • That the passenger is on a Manifest
  • That the passenger is checking out within the check in window. Different clients have varying check in windows. This setting can be found in the website but Navigating to Settings > Advanced Settings > Worksite Kiosk.

Check-Out

For passengers that are checking out with the Offshore Kiosk select the Check Out button. From here enter the passengers Date of Birth and Select the Profile. You will be asked to confirm one final time before it brings you to the weights screen.

If you do not see a passenger's profile after entering their date of birth, check the following items.

  • That the date of birth is correct
  • That the passenger is on a Manifest
  • That the passenger is checking out within the check in window. Different clients have varying check in windows. This setting can be found in the website but Navigating to Settings > Advanced Settings > Worksite Kiosk.

Once a passenger has been found, the next step is passenger weights. Have a passenger step on to the scale, placing all bags to the side. Once weight has been found click Next. This will prompt you to weigh the passenger's bags. Have the passenger step off of the scale and select the number of bags they are traveling with then click Next. 

One at a time, place each bag on the scale and get the bags weight. Once a bag has been weighed remove it and place the next bag. Repeat this process until all bags have been weighed then click Next. 

This will bring us to the final confirmation screen, verify all weights are correct. Then select Confirm and Check- Out. This will finalize the Check Out and complete the process.

Hardware Troubleshooting Guide

To Power Cycle the Computer: Unplug the cable located at the back of the computer. Wait 30 Seconds then plug the cable back in. 

To Power Cycle the Scale: Hold the power button on the scale indicator until the screen powers off. With no weight on the scale press the power button again to power it back on. 

To Zero the weight on the scale indicator/kiosk: If a scale indicator or weight screen shows +/- weight on the indicator with no bags or passengers present, you can zero the scale by pressing the Zero button on the scale indicator. 

 "Unable to connect to server" warning message: The common cause of this message is a break in internet connection. Confirm that the Ethernet cable is still connected at the kiosk and is plugged into the wall. If trouble still persists contact Helipass support.
