• 1 x Offshore Kiosk Scale
• 1 x Scale Head
• 1 x Power Cable

Steps

1. Power off the Scale

• Action: Hold the power button on the scale head until the scale powers off.

2. Disconnect the Power

• Action: Unplug the power cable from the scale head.

3. Disconnect the Serial Cable

• Action: Remove the serial cable from the scale head to disconnect it from the computer.

4. Unbox the New Scale Components

• Action:
  • Unbox the new scale, scale head, and power cable.
  • Keep the box to ship the expiring components back to Helipass.

5. Connect the New Components

• Action:
  • Connect the new scale to the scale head
  • Connect power to the scale head
  • Reattach the existing serial cable to the new scale to re-establish the connection to the computer.

7. Power On the Scale Head

• Action: Power on the scale head and confirm that the scale is accepting weights.

8. Pack Expiring Components

• Action: Pack the expiring scale components in the box and return them to the heliport/Helipass.
