How-To: Add/Manage/Edit Locations
Overview: This guide will explain all the steps that it takes to add a new location into the Helipass website. Doing this will add it as an option to the location drop down menus throughout the site.
To get to the Locations page to manage the locations that will appear on the website, click on "Assets" on the top menu bar. Once the drop down menu appears, select the "Locations" option.
On the Location page, click on the "Add Location" button on the right of the screen. On the right of the locations currently in the system, a list of empty fields will populate. Fill in all known information about the location into these fields.
This information for the location can be edited in the future as needed.
Once all the known information is input, hit the "Save" button.
If at any point you wish to exit the "Add Location" feature without saving, either the "Close" or the "Cancel" button can be selected.
Input the information for as many fields as possible. The more information about the location the better. The Helipass software uses the grid coordinates to calculate the expected flight time for each flight. It is good practice to keep the coordinates current for locations that relocate.
Once Completed please use the Service Port Management guide to assign the location to the correct service port.
