How-To: Assign Locations to a Service Port

Overview: When a location is listed as a service port, other locations can be assigned to it. This will generate location drop down menus throughout the site to filter out only those locations associated with that service port. This guide will explain how to go about assigning these locations for the desired service port.

Start by clicking on the "Assets" drop down menu on the Helipass bar at the top of the web page. Then select "Service Port Management." (Highlighted below)

Once on this page, locate the service port you wish to assign locations to. (Locate the service port by either using the search bar or the arrows to navigate through the pages)

Select the "Destination" button on the desired service port location. (Highlighted below)

The destination button will populate the different regions that have been created by your company. Select the down arrow next to the region that the location is located in. (Referenced below)

When the region is selected, there might be additional filtering options for each region that the company has put in place.

Once the location that needs to be assigned to that service port is found, selecting the checkbox to the left of the name will add it to the service ports list.

When a location is added, a blank field will populate to the right of the name. This field will be to assign a color to the location.

Clicking in the box will populate a menu that can be altered until the desired color is selected.

Once all the desired changes are made to assigning locations, select either the "Save Changes" button at the top or bottom of the page.

Selecting a color is not a requirement and will default to black until one is selected.

To remove a location from a service port these same steps would be followed. The only difference would be to unselect the checkbox for that location.
