Passenger Status

Overview: Passenger status indicates whether a passenger has met the necessary requirements to fly for the company.  Many operators use a third-party service (such as ISNetWorld or PEC) to track compliance status.  On occasion, a passenger's compliance status may change without these services notifying HeliPass.  When this happens, you can force HeliPass to update the passenger's information and retrieve up-to-date information from the database.

You can update a passenger's status from the passenger's Personnel Profile or Reservation Profile.

The most common places a user will be in a passenger profile is on the Manifest page that they have a request on a flight, Request page, and Personnel page. The passenger's Reservation Profile is available on the manifest of the flight they have a reservation for.

Both Shown Below

Once the Personnel or Reservation Profile window pops up, you will see all the passengers information. The red bar to the left of the passenger's picture means he or she is out of compliance.

To look into what issues are not in compliance, select the "Statuses" tab at the top of the pop-up window. This view will show items in compliance as green and those not in compliance as red.

Other than green and red, statuses may show up as blue, purple, and yellow. Blue means the passenger is exempt from meeting the criteria, purple means the information is missing, and yellow means something will soon expire. Each flagged item will give a description of its cause.

A Passengers reservation status may differ from personnel status as location, reservation type, and flight type rules are also applied.

In the context of a flight the reservation status will be used for check in status.

The "Statuses" tab for this passenger is showing that he has expired courses and identification. (Shown above)

If the passenger brings proof of passing the courses and a valid form of identification that is not expired, the information can be updated under the appropriate tab.

Once that information is updated in the system, return to the "Statuses" tab and hit "Update Statuses."

This should reload the profile and the changes should be updated in the system.

A waiver can be requested if a passenger is out of compliance; this can be done through the Reservation Profile. The Reservation Profile for that passenger will be located to the right of the passenger's name on his reservation for a flight.
