Passenger Reservation Types

When adding passengers to a request or manifest you have the option, depending on company policy, to add a reservation type.

This not only allows you to mark the type of passenger, but also to have special exemptions or requirements based on the type (EX: VIP that does not need compliance)

This quick guide will show you how to set a passengers reservation type

On the request page you can select the reservation type from the "Type" drop down (Highlighted below)

This reservation will stay with this specific reservation once the passenger is added to the flight

On the manifest plan page, you can select the reservation type from the drop down highlighted below

If you have any questions regarding reservation types and the exceptions or special courses needed for each, please get with the admin for your company.

If you need any reservation types added or assistance with rules please have an admin contact the Helipass support team

I entered all PAX for a particular reservation as "Rotating Crew." When I printed the manifest, all had "E" listed under "Seating Consideration" except for one, which was listed as "Y." What's the difference?

The seating consideration for passengers on the manifest is triggered by a few things in the system. Things like first time fliers, large passengers, or a large variance in weight from the previous check-in.

If a passenger has an "E" they are good to go. If a passenger flags yes (Y) for seating consideration, there may be certain procedures needing to be followed. The dispatchers generally take care of any seating considerations and screenings at the base. If you have an inbound passenger flagging for a seating consideration, check with dispatch to see what procedures you need to follow.
