Updates to the Work Site Area
Collapsing and Pinning of Side Bar
As you may have see on the Trips page before, the side panel in the Work Site area has also been updated. You can now collapse the side panel if you want to make more room on the page, as well as pin the menu open via the thumbtack icon.
Consolidation of Movement Tiles
The Work Site area for a location gives you a breakdown of the passenger movements and cargo movements that are arriving and departing a location via the panel on the left side of the screen. This area once used to be broken down into two separate sections (Pax and Cargo), however, they have now been combined.
With the pax and cargo movements being combined under a single tile, it will make applying those movements much quicker and easier.
Creating Request from Work Site Area
With the consolidation of the pax and cargo movement tiles in the left pane in place, we have now added a new Request tile selection. When clicked, this new Request tile will display all request going to your platform for the time period you have selected in the date range boxes. It will allow you to view and edit future request quickly and easily from the Work Site area, as well as creating brand new request to be planned out.
We have placed buttons that allow you to pop-out the full request to add and edit passengers and cargo manually and a dropdown button to display the list of passengers or cargo items on the request in the side panel. The best part about this feature enhancement will be how quick and easy it is to add personnel and cargo that are currently on your locations POB and COB list directly to a request. Simply click the box next to the items on your Work Site area and hit "+ Add" on the request you wish to add them on.
To learn more about how this new Request from POB/COB feature works, please visit the user guide called "Managing Request from POB/COB List."
Searching and Filtering of POB and COB List
A new capability that is now present in the Work Site area is the ability to search and filter the list of passengers and cargo items.
If you are looking to edit a specific person, search their name in the search bar. If you are looking to filter the list down to only personnel from a couple of specific companies, by gender, essential status, etc., use the new filter option. While it may not be beneficial to have set all the time, you can even setup filters as your default view for future visits to the page.
Do note that the list of items that are present in the filters menu will be growing in the future. Things like rooms, bunks, ICS roles, muster points, lifeboats, and much more will be added over the new few months.
Now with the new Request from POB/COB option available, use the new filters to your advantage when building your request. If you know a specific group of passengers working for a certain company are crew changing, filter the list by that company and use the select all button to quickly add those workers to a request!
Reservation Profile for Arriving and Departing Personnel
Another change that has been made to simplify life on the Work Site area is the introduction of the Reservation Profile icon (the eyeball) next to the arrival and departure dates.
If you click the eyeball next to a passengers arrival date field, it will give you all of the details for the trip that they arrived from. Subsequently, if you select the Reservation eyeball next to a passengers departing date field, it will give you all the information for the request or trip that the passenger will be departing your location on.
Quick access to this eyeball will allow better planning for the passengers departing trip, easier access to requesting waivers and check statuses, and much more.
Be on the lookout for even more improvements and enhancements to the Work Site area in the near future!
