NOTICE: New icon status to indicate stale Arrival Presets
The Arrival Presets area on the Worksite page displays an icon to the left of the arriving passengers names to indicate the status of their assignments. The icon can tell you if the passenger has preset assignments already saved, no preset assignments saved, or assignments that have been saved but no reservation can be found.
- Calendar icon with three blue lines - the passenger has an arriving reservation and their preset assignments given
- Calendar icon with no lines - the passenger has an arriving reservation but no preset assignments have been given
- Three blue lines with no calendar icon - the passenger has their preset assignments given but their is no reservation for the passenger's movement (passenger's receive a reservation when placed on a request or manifest for a location)
- (NEW) Calendar icon with yellow exclamation mark - the passenger has an arriving reservation but their saved presets are from a previous reservation that was never applied and the Arrival Date doesn't match the date of the new reservation (this is considered stale presets)
Addressing Stale Presets
When you are looking at the Arrival Preset section of the Worksite page, you may notice some passengers with stale saved presets. These stale presets, if not addressed, can cause issues with some of the reports generated. Specifically, the Forecasted POB reports in the Custom Reporting area and Arrival Sheets from the Trip Movement may pull different assignments for the passenger. Instead of displaying the assignments of the stale preset, the reports will pull the passenger's defaults or place them as none.
To get rid of the Stale Preset icon, the Arrival Date in the Arrival Preset area for the passenger will need to be updated to match that of the reservation.
Depending on if you want to keep the same saved presets or delete the saved presets, you can either:
- Keep the existing saved presets by simply updating the passenger(s) arrival date field to match the date of the reservation
- Erase the old presets and start fresh by simply deleting the passenger's assignments which will automatically update the Arrival Date to match the reservation date
When handling multiple passengers with stale preset, consider checking off multiple passenger's at a time and mass editing them.
- To mass update the Arriving Passengers arrival date, click the "Edit Selected" button at the bottom of the Arrival Preset section and edit the Arrival Date in the modal.
- To erase all of the saved presets for the passengers, click the "Delete Selected Presets" button at the bottom of the Arrival Preset section. This will revert passenger's back to their defaults or none with the preset icon indicating that assignments have not been saved yet.
It is good practice to always keep an eye out for the stale preset indicator and address them as you come across them. This will insure that your reports will be accurate when you print/download them.
