Associating Competencies with ICS Roles and Positions on the Worksite

Passengers on board a Worksite facility are often assigned specific roles in regards to ICS Roles and Positions. Some of the ICS Roles and Positions do not require specific certification or training while others do.

Worksite locations can configure specific required competencies for passengers to be in compliance with that ICS Role or Position. Roles like Fire Fighter, Lifeboat Commander, Medic can be associated with the global list of competencies that your HSE or system admin team has configured.

To edit the required competencies an already created ICS Role or Position, click the pencil icon to the right of the name. If you are creating new ICS Roles or Positions, the competencies can be assigned during creation.

Select one or more competencies you wish to require for a POB Passenger to be considered green for that ICS Role or Position and then hit Save.

Not all ICS Roles or Positions should require special training to be competent. Be sure work with your admin team to properly configure your locations compliance requirements.

Check out the other User Guides "Creating Global Competency List" and "Associating Competencies to Passenger Profiles" to read more about setting up Position Competency requirements.

Users may or may not see the Position Competency feature in the website based on the tenants specified settings.
