July 2024 Update

System Updates

Worksite Users - New Fatigue Management export available on the Worksite page

We are excited to announce the addition of a new report available to our Worksite users. The Fatigue Management report can now be downloaded from the POB Worksheets dropdown menu. This report provides comprehensive details about all passengers on the facility, including the number of days they have been on board, the number of days they are scheduled to stay, and additional contextual information.

Offshore locations often have strict guidelines regarding the length of stays for passengers on board. The Fatigue Management report enables users to quickly assess the duration of each passenger's stay and aids in making informed decisions for planning reservations, ensuring compliance with these guidelines.

Worksite Users - Total passenger weight calculations now being displayed on the Lifeboat tile

The Helipass team has released a feature enhancement for the information being displayed on the Lifeboat Totals that are displayed in the left Planning Panel of the Worksite page. The latest update includes the addition of estimated lifeboat weight calculations alongside the existing total seat count calculations.

Worksite users leveraging the Lifeboat Tile for future planning and balancing lifeboats will now have the ability to quickly assess if the lifeboat is close to or exceeding the maximum allowed weight allowance. If the passengers' body weight surpasses the maximum allowed, the text will turn red, alerting the user to the over-capacity issue. This enhancement aims to improve safety and planning efficiency for lifeboat management.

Worksite Users - POB Passengers missing bunk assignment will now trigger an entry Error

We have enhanced the Errors Banner on the Worksite Page to improve the management of POB (Personnel On Board) room and bunk assignments.

Worksite users are tasked with assigning POB passengers with proper room and bunk assignments for their stay on the facility. Since the number of bunks available is a driving factor in the maximum allowed personnel on board the facility at any given time, knowing that all passengers are properly assigned a bunk gives the POB Coordinator assurance that they have not exceeded this limit.

To address this, the Errors Banner now includes notifications for passengers who are not assigned a bunk. This update allows Worksite users to quickly identify and address passengers missing bunk assignments, ensuring proper room and bunk allocation and reducing the risk of exceeding the maximum personnel capacity.

Bug Fixes

Helipass Users - Addressed issue with navigating to pages from the main menu bar

We addressed a navigation issue that some users experienced while moving between pages on the website. Occasionally, selecting a webpage from the top menu bar would not function correctly if the user was already on that page. For example, if a user was in the Manifest section and tried to navigate to the Manifest page again, nothing would happen.

The Helipass team has fixed this issue. Now, selecting any page from the top menu bar will open the requested page, even if the user is already on it. This update ensures smoother and more intuitive navigation throughout the site.

Worksite Users - Bunk indicators now displaying the correct availability status when editing passenger bunk assignments from the Edit POB modal

We resolved a bug affecting the bunk availability status indicator. Users reported that when editing a POB passenger's bunk assignment from the Edit POB Assignment modal, the bunk indicators showing availability were incorrect.

The Helipass team has addressed this issue, and now the bunk statuses within the Edit modal accurately represent the current bunk availability. With limited bunk spaces on any given asset, ensuring proper and efficient bunk assignments is crucial to avoiding overbooking and maximizing POB (Personnel On Board) capacity. This fix helps prevent double-booking and ensures more efficient management of bunk assignments.

Worksite Users - Departure List report no longer displaying the following days reservations

We addressed a bug affecting the Departure List report on the Worksite page. Users reported that the report was incorrectly displaying departing passengers for the following day instead of the selected date.

The Helipass team identified that this issue was due to incorrect UTC conversions during the export process. With the fix now released, Worksite users can download the Departure List report accurately, ensuring it reflects the correct departing passengers for the selected date.

Schedule View Users - Issue with the Schedule View page not reloading properly after closing a modal has been addressed

We addressed an issue where the Schedule View page was not reloading properly after certain modals were closed. The Schedule View provides a Gantt view of the schedule based on all entered data. Proper reloading is essential for reflecting any changes made, such as editing events on the schedule.

With the recent updates, the Schedule View page now reloads correctly when actions requiring a reload are taken. Users should experience a smoother workflow with accurate and up-to-date information displayed immediately after changes are made.

Schedule View Users - The Schedule View gantt now properly refreshing after changes to the schedule have been made

We addressed an issue where the Gantt chart in the Schedule View was not properly reloading after changes were made to the schedule. Users can perform various actions, such as building request reservations, linking reservations to events, and moving events and reservations around. However, it was noted that the Gantt information was not always updating properly, requiring users to refresh the entire page to see their changes.

With the recent updates, the Gantt chart now reloads correctly after each action. This improvement ensures that users can manage their schedules smoothly and make decisions based on the most up-to-date information without needing to refresh the page.
