1. Did you know that you can configure default assignments for the passengers on your Worksite location?

Passengers that have regular rotations for a Worksite location are likely to also have assignments, such as bunk or ICS Roles, that they are always assigned to. Helipass offers Worksite users the ability to manage POB passengers and designate defaulted assignments for them.

Once a passengers' defaulted assignments are set, they will default to those same assignments for every future reservation that is created! Setting defaults will drastically speed up time and help you focus on the non-core passengers while swiftly managing your core passengers.

2. Did you know that you can easily reopen browser tabs after closing them out?

Have you ever accidentally closed a tab in your web browser and wish you could reopen it quickly? What about closing the entire browser window, losing multiple tabs? Of course you have!

To quickly get the browser tab(s) to open back up, simply press "Control + Shift + T" at the same time to open them back up! If you still have the browser window open, pressing "Control + Shift + T" will open up the last window that was closed. Pressing it again and again will continue to open up the window closed prior to that one to open up. If you closed out the entire browser, simply open back up the browser and hit "Control + Shift + T" and all tabs that were present when the browser was closed will pop right back up!

3. Did you know you can easily open up new tabs to the Trips and Request pages?

Have you ever been on the Worksite page and wanted to open up a specific request or trip that a passenger is on? Or maybe you were working in the system and someone comes in and ask you for a bit of information that is on a different page?

If you are constantly bouncing around in the site and losing you place when you do, consider opening up the windows in a new tab! There are plenty of places that opening up a new tab could be beneficial and save you some precious time, especially if you have slower than desired internet speeds.

Whether it be opening up a new page from the top menu bar, or opening up a trip/request from a passenger's reservation profile, the easiest ways are to:

1. Center click the scroll wheel on your computers mouse (if equipped)

2. Right clicking on the desired link and selected to "Open in a new tab" from the drop-down menu that appears

By opening the pages you want to navigate to in another window or tab, you will still have the tab you were working from as it was before you opened up the other tab. Your date filter, sorting options, and other filtered out information, will remain in tact without having to navigate back and setting them again!

4. Did you know you can set cost codes and locations as favorites?

Are you a user who constantly uses the same cost code(s) or location(s) when building out reservations, managing your POB, running reports, etc.? Searching through the list of cost codes and locations that are in your Helipass system can take up precious time that could be used else where.

The Helipass system has a neat feature to set cost codes and locations as favorites that every user can use to their advantage. When cost codes or locations are set as a favorites, they will appear at the very top of the list when the drop down menu is opened throughout the website. A location can even be marked as a users' home location by selecting the house icon. This will place that location at the very top of the list, as well as taking the user directly to that Worksite when the Worksite Home link is selected from the top menu bar.

5. Did you know that there is multiple gantt views to visualize the trip schedule?

Are you a manifest user who is responsible to booking reservations, building manifest, or ensuring that all processes for the day of travel are followed? If so, you may be interested in checking out the gantt views for the Trip's page!

When you are on the Trip's page, you will notice the 3 different view modes that are available. By default, you will land on the List View, however, there are buttons to take the same trip data driving that list view and turn it into visualized gantt views.

These gantt views can offer information about estimated cost of trips and seats on each leg, utilization rates of each leg, and other key details of the trips. The gantt views are a great place for manifest users to identify sharing opportunities between their neighbors, as well as ways to be more cost efficient!

6. Did you know that you can run saved Custom Reports from anywhere in the website?

Are you a user leveraging one or more of the reports available to you on the Custom Reporting page?
Have you ever saved pre-built custom reports in order to download updated versions overtime?
Tired of having to navigate to the Custom Reporting page to download these reports?

If your answer to these questions is yes, we would like to bring your attention to the "Quick Report" button at the top right menu bar of the page. From anywhere in the website, users are able to open up the Quick Report modal to run any of the reports previously saved in the Custom Reporting area. Simply find the saved report you wish to run from the Saved Reports dropdown menu and hit "Run".

You will then be able to download that report from the email sent to your inbox, or by navigating to the "My Reports" page located under the "Reports" main menu dropdown.
